Dehradun : Today, on 23/2/2024, during the procession organized on the occasion of Ravidas Jayanti under Kotwali Nagar area. Banners and posters have been torn by some mischievous elements.

Taking immediate cognizance of the above incident, the police arrested Azam Khan, son of Mashroor Khan, resident of 306 Pradhan Wali Gali, Majra police station, Patel Nagar, Dehradun, for disturbing the peace.
And on the complaint of resident of Aman Squadia, Indresh Nagar, Azam Khan, son of Mashroor Khan, resident of 306 Pradhan Wali Gali, Majra police station, Patel Nagar, Dehradun and registered a case under relevant sections in Kotwali Nagar against unknown persons for hurting religious sentiments and spreading communal tension.
